Dry alpacas for a change

It has been dry today which makes a really nice change, so I thought I'd head out with the camera to get a few shots of the alpacas before they are sheared in a couple of weeks time.

Here are the bulk of the girls, as usual Willow is at the back.

Willow is last for everything, whether it be food time, an open gate or injections.  The only thing she wasn't last for was joining the Barnacre herd, she was one of our foundation three!

Here she is, Willow, the face of Barnacre Alpacas and due to give birth 1st June, she is pregnant to Golden Guinea this year.  Willow has produced four girls on the trot for us so it will be interesting to see if she can make it five!

At the minute, my money is on Oonagh birthing first.  As you can see she is showing off her baby bump nicely now and is 3 days past her personal due date.
