National Trust outing

We have had a busy day of a different kind today.  We had been invited to the National Trusts Seaton Delaval Hall with the alpacas.

We received lots of nice compliments for both the animals and our knitwear.  Out today was Loki, Sandstorm and Tenzing and for the first time we took three of the weanlings, Ochre, Pearson and Minimus.

They were extremely well behaved, you'd never believe it was the first time they'd been away from home.  Pearson and Ochre have certainly inherited their dad's (Golden Guinea) chilled out disposition.

As it's birthing season and Sienna and Princess Mallika are well into the birthing window I'd left mum on baby watch.  She's spent all day in the field on her deck chair knitting, it looks like she needed some suntan cream on!

Tomorrow we've got the temporary fencing to finish off.  We use pig netting Dave, I'll take the camera with me tomorrow so you can see it.

Bit windy here for deckchairs!
Glad the alpacas enjoyed their outing - looking forward to more photos of Minimus!
