Me & my friend

At last I managed to take the camera out with me, although it's not a hay shot. I thought you might like to see the reformed character that is Gaussian. Anyone who has witnessed a previous feeding session will appreciate what a complete transformation this is - look no restraint!!
He is my new best friend, this morning he met me at the gate, in fact he had his head through the gate before I'd opened it. It is so nice he even put the vitamin paste tube in his mouth voluntarily, although he pulled away too quickly to get any.
Angelus, one of the Australian imports who is a Gianmarco daughter is looking on to make sure Gaussian is not getting something she might like!
We've been working on the fencing again today, sadly it's not going as quickly as we were hoping. Doubt it will be completed tomorrow.
We had a brief brake when a new manure collector came to relieve us of some of the muck mountain - tomorrow we have a chap coming with a 2 ton trailer which will be good!!

Hello debbie, It is a real pleasure to see Gaussian taking his bottle without restraining him. It has taken a long time but you got there in the end due to your perserverance. WELL DONE.

Glad to see he's doing so well - great job!

It seems odd reading about Australian genetics on a blog from the other side of the world - Gianmarco is a local boy, in fact if you draw a line on a map between his joint owners - the Lloyds at EP Cambridge and Gary & Sandy at Softfoot, about halfway along it, you'd be very close to our place. It makes the competition at local shows very tough!

Hi Perry,

I have been to both farms that you referred to in SA. I have seen their breeding. I can apprciate your problem. Gianmarco is a cracking lad, met him too whilst I was there. You live in a lovely part of the World. A lot warmer than it is here in the UK now.

Keep blogging, Regards.

Hopefully you are on the way up now, with the problems firmly in the past, onwards and upwards from here on in!..Enjoy your special time together, won't be long and he'll be all grown up, before you know it !!.......Jayne

Wow lots of comments - I love it when people talk to me!!!

One day I'd love to get over to see some of those magnificent ozzy boys (and girls for that matter), I do envy you Perry having them on your door step; not on the show circuit though!
