A new chapter at Barnacre

Well the day finally arrived and boy were we excited. We were up at the crack of dawn and off on the road to pick up......................................

Our Boys!!!! We were very fortunate to get the opportunity to buy Wellground Legend of Spartacus & EP Cambridge Gianmarco's Masterpiece, so jumped at the chance. Rob & Les at Wellground Alpacas down in Wilsthire were very lucky to breed two stunning boys, now we are the lucky ones!

These boys have stunning pedigrees, including EP Cambridge Spartacus, Jolimont Commisario, Jolimont Gianmarco, Sculptor and Encantador. To say we are excited is an understatement, we are looking forward to getting them working and see what they produce - Duchess is eagerly awaiting their services.

Matt Cook from Three Oaks Alpacas kindly gave us the use of his field for the handover which was great, thanks Matt. Saved us a good few hours on the road and we got to see his lovely herd too!

The weather was terrible when we left home this morning, brightened up for us during the day and by the time we arrived home treacherous, it was like monsoon season with flooding everywhere.

Now you will see why Paul has been hogging the computer, all the website updates will go live in the next day or two.

After a mentally exhausting day I think it's bed time!

Hi Debbie and Paul,

It was really great to meet up with you again today. We are really delighted that you are having the two boys. We will miss them a terribly. We wish you the very best of luck in the future with them. Can't wait to see pictures of them all tucked up in their new homes.

Well done on the new additions Debbie. Delighted to see there's some more quality males coming to the northern bit of the UK. Gerry, Coire Alpacas

Thanks chaps, we are so pleased with the boys, they are fantastic.
Photos will follow - hopefully when they are a bit drier!

Well done guys. Hope your new boys settle in well.

I am sending you a 'resignation from the poor alpacas group' notice for you to fill in.

Can't have members with their own quality stud males, not good for the image.

I'll send you the debt to take on then - tee hee!
