Who will be next

After a lovely start to the morning the weather took a turn for the worse again this afternoon, thankfully I'd decided that I would leave Snow and her Little Lady in the shed whilst we were out.

We had a really exciting follow up meeting booked for this morning, it's all a bit top secret at the minute but as soon as I can I will share it with you all.  Mind you I'm feeling slightly paranoid that you're not interested in hearing what I have to say having seen how many comments Paul got last night, I don't very often get that many!

Despite the horrible rain again this afternoon Veruschka's daughter is looking fine, she has her nice cosy coat on and mum has plenty of warm milk on tap.

Lucia should be the next one to give birth, she's currently on 347 days (which is our overall herd average), she has some milk but not lots but as she is a maiden I'm not sure how she is going to bag up.  Some have milk for quite a while whilst other seem to bag up and birth quickly.

After Lucia I suspect it will be a race between Chiquita and Iolani, on of the livery girls.

As for the escaping sheep they are still contained.........

Come on Debbie...everyone is entitled to a Blog break....a change is as good as a rest....Im glad you have had a slightly more relaxed day after all that skull duggery with the Pirates yesterday. The weather is awful up here to, nothing like summer. I hope those babies arrive when the sun shines for you....take advantage of that brief restbite ....Jayne
