Matings and groundworks

Good news at last, Geena finally decided to sit this morning so Gianmarco's Masterpiece got to have his wicked way with her. We had a bit of tandem mating going on with Legend and Gianmarco and not wanting to miss out on the action check the movie below.

Barnacre Sandstorm is five weeks old and the best cria be have bred so far, so him learning the ropes early is no bad thing - we have very high hopes for him.

More good new, we have managed to secure the use of the field next to the house. So we have spent the rest of the day doing some ground works. There is a lot of work to be done, more fencing and some serious attention to the grass.

Tomorrow is d-day wen I have to deliver the boys and I'm upset already!

Hi Debbie,

Glad to see Barnacre Sandstorm is getting ready for his future duties.

We are really pleased that you see him as your best cria. Cambridge Buckingham has produced our best cria by far (ever). In fact one of our Buckingham daughters this year must challenge for the best cria I have seen anywhere.

So we are really excited for you and hope Sandstorm goes on to do great things for you in the future.

I hope all goes well for your boys at their new home, I didn't know that you had sold them until I read this blog. Im sure that they will be fine as I know that you are very particular who you sell to!...I also know that it must be a mixed bag of emotions...you have done a great job of giving them the best start in their lives.....time now for them to spread their wings and leave the 'nest' so to speak.....you should be very proud.......Jayne

Its a moment that non of us enjoy Debbie but it's one of the reasons we do what we do. We've sold two of our own this week, including our first ever cria. It will be a wrench but it has to be done!
